O the dreamed up Images
all the fantasy Nations
I have conjured up
over the years
to stay alive
in this diseased land
where one’s sickness
is made
through admonitions
to seem suspect &
out of place

Hence my subtle donning
of all appurtenances of the shade
convinced to be part
of a tribe of the Fallen
and the Falling

Together we say ‘No’
